I have been interested in drawing and painting ever since I was a young girl. I also had a great interest in Science. I was a biology and chemistry teacher for 17 years, and was able to use my drawing abilility in my classes. I also raised 4 children, so there was not much time for art! After I retired, art entered my life and has been there ever since.

I have taken many workwshops with well known and respected professional artists here in the USA and abroad. I have been accepted in many juried shows, and have won some awards. I helped start the Artist's Guild of Columbia County and served as their first president.

Painting can be a joyfull and exhilirating experience. It also can be hard work, but I wouldn't give it up for anything. When things go well, I feel wonderful!
