Mardelle Todd became interested in watercolor painting while living in North Carolina in the late eighties. She particularly enjoys painting historical buildings and garden flowers. She is a member of Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art and the Artists' Guild of Columbia County. Kipling's poem, L"Envoi expresses her feelings about painting: " But each for the joy of working, And each, in his seperate star, Shall draw the thing as he sees it, For the God of Things as they are."
