The Artists’ Guild of Columbia County is a fast growing group of professional and amateur artists and patrons of the visual arts. Our artist members work in a variety of media including acrylic, ceramics, charcoal, collage, fiber arts, graphics, jewelry, metal art, oil, pastel, pen & ink, photography, pottery and watercolor. The Guild provides opportunities for artists to exchange creative ideas and business information and offers projects of interest to artists and those interested in the arts.
The Guild was established in 2004, and was initially launched by Columbia County Arts. In its first two years, the Guild has hosted art in the barn and art after dark, scheduled exhibitions at various public venues and provided educational opportunities for our members. Future projects include art workshops, studio tours, creating art on location, and critique meetings.
The Guild meets monthly, alternating between second Tuesdays and Saturdays. Tuesday meetings are usually held at the Columbia County Library at 7:00 pm and Saturday meetings are held at artists' homes.
